                 ASSIGNMENT 8 - CALCULATING AN AVERAGE

Due Date: Before Lecture 10/18/91

This program will prompt for 5 floating point numbers.  The program will
print out the total of the five numbers and also print out the average.

The program output will execute as follows:

  $ a.out 
  Enter the first number: 10.0
  Enter the second number: 5.0
  Enter the third number: 15.0
  Enter the fourth number: 20.0
  Enter the fifth number: 10.0

  The total is: 60.0
  The average is: 12.0
